The day after my mom left was a tough day. Not tough like I thought it would be but due to the fact that we had a new baby and couldn't go anywhere it was boring. I thought I was going stir crazy but then I looked at Turner and he was just staring out the window. He isn't use to sitting around all day with nothing to do and I could tell that this was a whole lot harder on him than it was on me. I knew I needed to do something with him that was totally toddler. My final piece of motivation was when he started painting the windows with his spit. so I decided to pull out some frosting, grahm crackers and a knife and let him go at it (don't worry there wasn't a sharp edge on the knife... smooth as silk.) Well, he had a totally messy, splendid, toddlerish time. I loved every minute of it knowing that he was happy.

You are one amazing woman. I love that you are such a wonderful mom. I don't let Clark do stuff like that. Maybe we'll try...
