My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

All is well

I couldn't believe that my husband wanted to blog about Max's birth. He is so sweet. Heather came to visit and took some adorable pictures of Max. Here is the link http://web4.sendtoprint.net/proofbook/ and type in Maxwelldavid- check it out. Heather is so talented and we are so grateful. Max's birth was amazingly perfect. I couldn't have even planned better. It was smooth, quick and very powerful. I have never been more amazed at God's ability to create our bodies to be able to bring children into this world. He really does know what he is doing. I read the book Hypnobirthing which made a huge difference and was very empowering. If you ever want to go natural I highly recomend it. Anyway enough of that- Max is doing wonderful. He is a great nurser so far which after what we went through with Turner is very releaving. So the winner of the guess the babies name contest is a tie. Only because my sister's internet wasn't working so I took her guess over the phone and it came in around the same time as my aunts. So Nicole and Shawna guessed it first! There are two honorable mentions- Jason who guessed Maxwell the very first week and the second to Shannon who guessed David Maxwell about 3-4 weeks before anyone guessed Maxwell David. Thank you to everyone who said prayers on our behalf I know that it really made a huge difference!

It was my pleasure to take pictures of your adorable little guy! How are things now that you're getting settled in at home? have anymore blinding casualties? I hope max can learn to see with only one functioning eyeball. haha! Keep me posted on how real life is... i need to prepare! :)

The little guy is so cute! I don't know if I will be able to be there so soon after you give birth next time, I have been pretty lucky so far! Max is precious, holding him made me a little bit baby hungry. The pictures were adorable, I love the one on the front of Turner kissing Max. I love you!

Tiffany he is genuinely cute! This is Becky (thorne) Tolman. You guys make really cute little boys. Way to go on the no-drugs thing. You're stronger than I am.

Congratulations! Maxwell David is a great strong name. He's a doll, and you look great too. As for a natural birth, isn't it amazing! Dalt's natural birth was terrible, Joe's epidural birth left me paralyzed for 9 hours longer than the nurses expected and scared the *#@$*! out of me. Sophia and Jennie both had perfect natural births, and my body responded beautifully, plus I feel like the strongest woman alive, (okay, my mom and my sister delivered all 6 of theirs each naturally). I just think we women collectively are more powerful than we give ourselves credit. Good job!

The 19th we're busy during the day, but our evening is set aside for Meish and you. My place, hers, or yours? What about Tawna?

Tiffany,

I would love to get together but we are having a birthday party for Addie this coming Saturday. (We're going to be out of town on her birthday.) If there is another time that Meisha can do it let me know.

The pictures are great! Having 2 is fun isn't it? Tiring but fun!
