My parents insisted in High School that I take a typing class. I didn't think it was very relevent at the time due to the fact that I wasn't going to be a secretary and at the time I thought that the only people that typed were secretaries. Computers were still very rare. They explained that in college I would be typing a lot of papers and that I would be glad I took typing. So I took the class on a good old fashioned typwriter with paper and everything. I was very glad that I took the class. I didn't get the best grade in the class but when I saw that the knowledge that I had gained was relvent in real life I quickly embraced the "home row." I became proficent to the point that it pained me to watch someone hunt and peck. Computers of course took over the world and typing was vital! Now here I am 16 years later with an infant in one hand and hunting and pecking with the other- so much for typing classes eh?

I'm glad you are back on the blog. It gives me confidence that my life will still be normal post birth.
Your little guy is darling. You guys make cute babies.
You are too funny! Just give it time, I am sure you will soon be able to hold a baby in one arm, and type quickly with the other!
I hear ya on this one. I had the exact same conversation with my parents and the exact same thoughts about my pecking after Clark was born. And uh, it still happens, by the way.
