My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

Olympic fever

So since I found out I was having twins I have to say that most of my time on the Internet has been researching everything I can about twins pregnancy and raising twins. I have learned a lot and really I feel a lot more confident then I did a couple of weeks ago. I never would have thought about how different having twins is then having one. The coolest part is that my friends that have twins and my friends that are twins have been some of the most supportive people! That gives me a lot of hope and confidence. I can really say that I have gone from "how in the world are we going to do this?" to an overwhelming feeling of excitement and gratitude! So here are several posts of what we have been up to for the last couple of weeks- I know a bunch of posts isn't as fun as frequent posts and if you are like me, you will skip all of the writing and just look at the pictures!

One of my friends posted some art work of her daughters on her blog and it gave me the idea for spreading a little bit of Olympic fever. The kids today replicated the Olympic rings by dipping canning rings in paint and painting the beloved Olympic symbol. After they did the Olympic symbol, they had fun with just random circles and it was even cooler! A great way to teach circles and colors.

Love this art idea. How fun. And I'm so excited for you. Love the belly picture. It must be overwhelming, but honestly, you are going to do fantastic. These new babies couldn't ask for a better mommy!

Fun posts!! I wish I was in preschool so I could join the fun you create!! Twins will certainly be a wonderful adventure for your family. I have all the confidence in the world that you and Josh will be GREAT parents to twins.
