Today we had the complete shock of our life! Josh and I found out shortly before Christmas that we were expecting an addition to our family. We were excited and it was planned. We waited until about New Years to tell anyone else- we just can't keep a secret very long. Yet, we wanted to wait until we went to the Dr. to make the official announcement. We have had a lot of friends go to the first appointment only to get bad news. Today we went and everything looks good so we felt it was time to tell the world. Not only does everything look good, it looks twice as good.
We found out that we were having twins! We both have twins in the family... but distantly. 2 of my grandma's sisters had twins but nothing in the direct line- for me. We found out Josh's aunt was suppose to be a twin. Anyway, we are very excited but very overwhelmed. That makes 4 kids in 4 years. There are a lot of unknowns but one thing we do know, we can only take one day at a time. I also know that God is aware of me and my needs and if this his his plan then this is the plan for us and our family at this time.
I am due August 18th but of course the Dr. isn't sure I will make it that long. Any guesses... boys? girls? one of each?

WOW...CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am sooo excited for you guys!!! I'm guessing two little girls!
What exciting news! Congratulations!! Hope you are feeling well. I don't think you'll sleep much over the next couple of years but how fun! And you already have your preschool set up since you will just about populate one! Good luck and keep us posted How everything goes. We should get together sometime.

TIFFANY! I didn't even know you were pregnant, so this is AMAZING news! Wow. I hope they are two little girls, but you've got the boy thing down pat, so maybe a house full of them would be cool. How exciting. Jill & T.J.'s twins are due in a few weeks, and we're all pretty excited. Babies, babies, babies!!
So I was totally panicing this morning about adding a 3rd but man twin takes the cake. What a great adventure.
I'm so excited for you!!! Congratulations. You'll be amazing. The Lord definitely knew what he was doing when he sent twins to you! You are the best. Good luck with everything.

Oh My Goodness! WOW! Congratulations! You are going to do fantastic. Try to remember that your hormones will tell you otherwise. We all have complete faith in your INCREDIBLE parenting abilities!
Wouldn't twin girls be fun??? That is what I always wanted.

I'm hoping for a boy and a girl just cause I always thought boy and girl twins were super cute! Either way you'll be a great mother. If your interested I was thinking about making a trip up to Utah in August to help you out! I'm not mom but maybe between Nicole and I we can help relieve your mind a bit...

I have been MIA and I am so sad about it. :) We have been so busy, that I haven't really LOOKED at other blogs, just tried to update mine for family, and get through the beginning of this year that has been CRAZY!

I would love to tell you all my knowledge I have learned in the three years of having twins. :) but I think my experience is a little different from yours. .. i didn't have TWO other kids!
