I have been a bit
nostalgic today remembering Max's birth a year ago. I can't believe how much our life has changed with him in our lives.

It seems as if he made us a couple with a child into a family- a real family. Max has been pretty easy from day one. His birth was amazing. I delivered him 100% natural- not even an IV. It was empowering and one of the best moments of my life. I
truly came away from the experience in awe of the powerful bodies that our Heavenly Father gave us.

He isn't feeling well and as I rocked him early this morning, thinking about his 2:49am delivery I had no bad feelings at all. I wasn't resentful for the labor as some women can be because it was wonderful and I had nothing except amazingly clear feelings of what a beautiful experience it was.

Max is a curious boy who loves to play. He more than anything wants to be right where his brother is. Turner and Max are best friends and love to play together.

Nothing can make Max laugh like his big brother. He is curious and always into everything (like most 1 year
olds.) He wants to walk everywhere and
appreciates the hand.

He has 6 teeth! He loves his
sippy cup and likes his blanket. He is on cloud 9 just lying on his blanket
suckn' on the
sipps. His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, Mac and Cheese, veggies and fish. Anything where he can feed himself is much appreciated since he hates being fed.

Max loves his dad and gets so excited when he walks in everyday. He was the master of the army crawl until very recently when he decided he wanted to crawl proper and now is on all fours. Max loves cars and playing cars with his brother. He pushes them around making a
vroom vroom noise. In fact it doesn't even have to have wheels- the other day he pushed around a horse and did the same thing! We love you Moo Moo
cachoo and can't wait for many more birthdays to come!

Great post.
I think you're a great example for giving birth the way you did.
awe... has it really been a year already?! whats going on?
Max sure is a cutie pie! Love the pics you have of him... you really captured his personality!
lets get together for a play date sometime! I bet our boys would love to play together! ... and who are we kidding... WE would love to play together!
What a sweet little post about Max. I have to admit that I stared at the first picture for a while. I initially thought it was a bajonga, but was like noooo, then was like it is Tiffany, then thought it had nothing to do with Max, then thought Maybe that's how big they got, then thought maybe Max was doing something in the background, then realized he wasn't, then realized it was you're baby bump! Anyways, what a cute little guy. When you coming to AZ so that Max, Turner and I can be friends?
How do you have a baby w/o an IV... I didn't even know that was an option. Happpy Birthday to Max! He sure is a cutie!
Let me clarify my comment... I didn't know that they would let you have a baby at the hospital w/o giving you an IV first.
I had to have a pick line but there wasn't anything hooked up to it. After the delivery the hooked me up to Pic to make sure my uterus contracted back down. But nothing for the actual delivery. And only advil afterward for the cramping.
Wow time sure does fly bye HE is so cute and getting so big. Hope you had a happy birthday max!
That is a sweet tribute!
