My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

Thank You For Your Love!

I have been very touched by the out pouring of concern that has been expressed for Josh and I after my last post. Josh has been having some severe pain in his abdomen on and off for the last month or so. He had been to the doctor and he hadn't been able to diagnosis he up to this point. He was scheduled to return today for more testing but after a series of attacks on Friday he decided that he couldn't wait and went to the ER in Salt Lake since he was down there for work. By this time I was pretty sure that it was Gallbladder disease due to the fact that I had my gallbladder out last October. After tests the ultrasound confirmed that his "gallbladder was chock full of stones and contracting down around them." (Dr. Patel, discharged consultation)

They decided since he was so far from home to discharge him so that he could have the surgery up here with the surgeon that preformed my operation. The only downfall is that he is booked 2 weeks out just for a consultation! So he is trying to eat very carefully to avoid another attack. He is home from work today so he can meet with the Dr. The biggest problem with all of this is that I am suppose to be leaving Friday for 2 weeks for my sisters wedding. I am worried to leave him while I am gone. I am going to have to make a list for him of things he can and can not eat and hope that he doesn't have another attack again because then they will probably have to do an emergency surgery. So in short we are doing well now and thankful that it wasn't appendicitis!
P.S. on a happy note, if I am able to really leave- I will be in AZ for 2 weeks! Anyone down there want to hang out?

Oh dear. As I started reading, I had flashbacks to my emergency appendix removal. Thanks goodness it isn't that. But ugh! Poor guy. I hope he can hang in there. That sounds like the pits. Hopefully they will have an opening or something and get it out sooner. HOORAY!! I am so excited you are coming home! Let me know when you can do something. I would love to get together!

Sorry bout your husband. I had my gallbladder out last year and had major complications, including an extra 50 pounds since. :(
I know you will probably be spending you AZ time in Prescott, but if you end up in Phoenix/Mesa area, give me a jingle, we can do lunch or something. 480-518-5067

Oh my gosh! Let me know if you need me to watch your boys. I totally will!! I know how it is not having family around to watch the kids so you dont have to entertain them in a hospital. Our # is 294-0663 if you need anything :)

Oh my goodness, Josh, this is shocking! Conference must of truly meant something very real to your family, when they offered hope, peace and strength, through the darkness and pain that life has to offer. Tiff, I love the gratitude for which you continue to show, come what may. It was interesting that they counseled us so deeply on that in conference, and that it was something you have already been doing, so fully. And uplifting us all with, thank you. Josh, this is truly your gethsemane that you are going through, a gethsemane Tiffany is going through with you hand in hand as a true friend, and Tiff I know that it must be difficult, extending support, empathy and love, while maintaining a heavier burden on your own shoulders, which only the Savior must fully understand for what you are both feeling, I extend my sincerest sympathy, I am soo soo sorry of this pain you are experiencing Josh, and give also my confidence in you both, getting through it with God so intimately, and pray you can feel him yoking your burdens!!! And feeling him truly strengthening you, how much he must think of you both in extending this trial to you.
Love, Emily
