My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

It's raining it's pouring

Monday we took our cute little Max to the Dr. for his 6mo. check up. 6mos. can you believe it! Well while we were there I happened to mention that Turner had had a couple of episodes where his heart was racing so fast that I couldn't count the beats- for no apparent reason. It turns out that he probably has a heart condition called supraventricular tachycardia or SVT for short. This isn't a good thing as while he is having an episode his body isn't getting nutrient rich blood because it is pumping so fast that it doesn't have time to get the things that it needs to take to the rest of his body. If his episodes last longer than a few minutes that it could be very dangerous. I have to meet with a pediatric cardiologist at Primary Children's Hospital and rush him into the Dr. or the emergency room next time it happens so they can preform an EKG. Well the ped. cardiologist is booked until Dec. so I guess it is just a bunch of waiting for us. And just for the cherry on top- our dishwasher kicked the bucket the same day. What does all of this mean? That something great must be right around the corner.

I am sooo sorry all this is happening. Sounds like you need to get away for a few weeks!!! Maybe to your Mom and Dad's loving arms. Let me know if I can do anything.

Oh, Tiff. I dont' think I could even give the appearance of trying to be positive. I'm sorry that these things happen, and I hate it when bad things happen to children. *that is funny that Franklin weighs the same as Turner, and he's 14 months older than Franklin too.

Who would have thought! Hope all goes well for Turner and that you will be able to get his heart problem completely diagnosed and resolved. I have been feeling very sorry for you the past few days anyway, then this on top of everything else. And now the dishwasher too! I would be for leaving town and hope for a little down time in Arizona. You need it. But like you said - you are now certainly due for some really good things. You are loved.

Holy cow! I'm so sorry to hear about Turner! The dishwasher sucks too, but it sounds like that is the least of your problems. Yeah for going home to Arizona for a couple weeks!!! Have a GREAT time.

Wow, Tiff. I wish I lived close by and could bring you dinners--at least that would be one less thing to worry about.

What a good mom you are that you just thought to ask! Some people might not have thought it was a big deal!

We will pray for him, and we hope everything goes well!
