My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

Happy Thought- good quotes

One of my favorite quotes came up in a conversation with Josh tonight and I thought I would pass it along: "Real freedom is the ability to pause between stimulus and response and in that pause choose." -Rollo May. I love this quote! Steven Covey has been given credit for it before but it is really the work of Rollo May.

Im a big Steven Covey fan. I happened to mention him/ his book in a personality development class I took one time. The teacher went off about how idealistic his views were and that "real life didn't work that way". We proceeded to get into a big old discussion about it while the whole class looked on in surprise. But I think I won her over...

Love the quote. We just need to remember to pause and perhaps pause a little longer. Thanks.
