My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today I was catching a bit of Brady Bunch on our local PBS station. Greg bought a clunker of a car and learned what it meant to have "been had." Mike Brady dispensed a lesson on how if Greg learned something (about being a responsible consumer) then it was worth the while. As I was nodding along to this invaluable advice I realized that it was along the lines of something my father would have said to me. I have been blessed with an amazing father- even more amazing than Mike Brady's perfect script. My dad is quick to laugh at the crazy curve balls that life so genrously throws our way. My Dad is a stalwart priesthood holder and was an honorable provider for our family. He is someone everyone can look up to and I am so glad that he is MY dad. So Happy Birthday Dad! I hope that it was a great one! I love you

I love this. I love that we are related. I love that I have an Uncle Dick and Aunt Carol who, even though I am just a niece, have ALWAYS made it clear they love me. I love that my Uncle Dick is one of the relatively few righteous men in the world that I can look to when I need to know they still exist. Happy Birthday Uncle Dick!

Those are some really neat pictures. I hope your Dad and Mom are doing good! I still remember your birthday party where we got shaving cream and got it all over each other! That was a fun party!
