My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

Happy Thought- Sealed for your protection

Today I am thankful for whomever messed around with products in the store that inspired companies to seal things. This morning while I was nursing max, Turner found our stash of baby lotion. I am one of those people that if I see a good deal I snatch it up and store it. So Turner found a couple of bottles and opened the lid and turned them over and squeezed with all of his might. It took him a while to notice the bottle was sealed. He soon figured out how to unscrew the lid and started trying to get off the seal. He was unsuccessful! Sometimes I feel like the "bonding benefits" of nursing are wasted with the second one because you are yelling at the older one the whole time! Today I could focus on Max and just take a lot of comfort in the phrase "sealed for your protection."

"If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul."

Tiff, i love you. you just make me laugh, and next time i'm frustrated at how hard it is to get off one of those seals--i'll think of Turner and smile.

Tiff, I am loving what you are finding grattitude for, it means my day can be so joyous for the things you find!! Hey question!! I wanted to have a half birthday for Rawl and of course now its like 8/12 or something, but was thinking of AUGust 12, and maybe having at Melissa's house, she's in Bountiful that way it is closer for Masaru, her son, and Turner, and was thinking we could also squeeze in our homemade icecream tradition together at the same event. Our house is far for you both, and Melissa may be right in the middle of a move!!! RSVP quick if it will work for you and I will send you a little invitation, please also send your address!! LOVE your family photo there on the right that is soooo dear, love Josh's snuggle with Turner, and you and the little Max look so cute!!

Hey Tiffany! Somehow I stumbled upon your blog and I was so excited! By the way this is Kendra (Little). Remember me from way back? :) You have such a cute family! I'm glad to see things are going well for you. I don't know if you know this but we live in Southern Utah (it sounds like you live in N. Utah). We're heading to the Salt Lake area next week - Lex is getting married! It would be so fun to see you if we can. E-mail me sometime (k_little21@hotmail.com). I'm going to send my mom your blog so she can see your cute family too. You're the best! (And I love how you look to the positive and are grateful for things - you're amazing.)

Way to go Tiffany! I can't think of a time when you didn't find the positive in something. You are so sweet! I can just see Turner trying and trying to get the lotion to come pouring out! Thank goodness they stuck!

With my luck it would be a bottle that was already open! Gage's new obsession is dumping all of the shampoo into the bath water, not such a big deal until it's my salon shampoo - argh!

P.S. I was just looking at your feedjit, do you know people in all of those places or are they just random people finding your blog... if so that is a little bit creepy! I mean do you really have friends in Australia? (maybe I don't want to know who looks at my blog) Oh and Gage just saw a picture of Turner and said, "That's me!"
