My Blog

Thanks for stopping by! I use to blog to "keep in touch," I use to blog to brag, I use to blog for an outlet. I have now realized I blog because these are the things I want my children to know/remember about our life together as a family. These days won't stop passing, but having a record of it when it is all a memory will be priceless to me.
I read your blog because I love you!

A river runs through it

Looking Down the Creek

Looking up the creek

Melissa asked me almost a month ago to post pictures of the creek in our backyard. Three years ago when we were engaged and looking for a house we decided to take a look at a house for sell in my in-laws neighborhood. I had no intentions of living that close to them but when I walked into the backyard I fell in love. I LOVE water of all kinds and I couldn't resist the beautiful creek that ran through the back of the property. The peach and cherry trees were also in bloom and I couldn't get it out of my mind. The house was in good shape but in desperate need of an update. There are still things that need to be done and a million things we would do if we had the money including re landscaping the yard. Of course I wouldn't mess with the creek though- I feel like I am in the middle of the mountains somewhere without a care in the world! We did have to put up a temporary fence this year to keep the kids from drowning in it- so with that in place I can enjoy my sanctuary again! Sorry it took so long Melissa but I do usually end up keeping my word :)

so also I was looking through your past posts and came upon your announcements and was thinking you should teach a class in digital scrapbooking. I'd be in the front row!! I really want to learn how to take advantage of photoshop with my scrapbooking etc. So if you have any tips let me know!
